MINCHTENNISCOUK - Team Information

Minchinhampton Tennis Club operates a variety of teams in both Summer, Winter and Junior leagues, as well local Floodlit Tournaments.

We currently have 4 Men's Teams in the Wilson Gloucestershire Tennis League at various levels throughout the Divisions.

We pay celebration to our Men's A Team who are in the Premier Division this year after formidable performances last year to gain promotion.

Our 3 other teams are spread between divisions 3A and 4B in a league from Premier to 6B.

Once more we have 4 Ladies Teams in the Ladies section of the Wilson Gloucestershire Tennis League again varying through the divisions

We congratulate the Women's A Team who once again sustained their position in the Premier Division for the 3rd season running.

The 3 other Ladies Teams all had mixed seasons last year and are divided between division 2A and 5A in a hugely competitive League.

The club's variety of tournament entries for Mixed Doubles really places us on the map. The Gloucestershire Winter League combines the skills of Men's and Ladies Doubles for one half of the match and then the 'fun' of Mixed Doubles for the other half. In this tournament we regularly enter 3 teams that include all members of the club who wish to play.

We also enter the Painswick Floodlight League that consists of pure Mixed Doubles play throughout the late Winter and Early Spring. We regularly have 1 team entered in each of the divisions with each division being split dependant on skill. Our best team players will play in the higher division and the second division is open in the same way the Winter League incorporates all players.
